Binders

Unipex offers semi-synthetic pharmaceutical grade binders (Nanhang) that bonds the various excipients in your formulation.  The use of those ingredients will improve your tablets hardness.

PVP (Nanhang):

• Polyvinylpyrrolidone (=Povidone)

K17: low viscosity, poorly hygroscopic

K90 : high viscosity, poorly hygroscopic

Semi-synthetic binders that bonds the various powders of the blend.  Water soluble and organic solvent.

• Polyvinylpyrrolidone /Vinyl Acetate 64 (=Copovidone)

For granulation and direct compression. Water soluble and organic solvent.

• Crospovidone (Nanhang)

PVP-P (=crospovidone): Provides an instant disintegration of tablets in water-based medium.

Increases actives bioavailability.

Poorly soluble in water and solvents.
